First of all I want to thank my wonderful sister for designing my new banner. I'm trying to learn how to do all that stuff but she is so great at that kind of thing and volunteered to do it for me. Actually, we bartered for it and I am going to paint her dining room hutch for her. I will share pictures when I get it done.
Our home office was one of the few rooms in our house that didn't have curtains and I was ok with that but I stumbled across this fabric at Hancock Fabrics and new it would match our office perfectly! It was actually on the remnant table so I had to piece it together using a green velvet stripe (also found on the remnant table). It was on clearance for $4/yard!! It's actually very heavy fabric so I didn't have to line it, which was nice. This was on of those projects, as most are, that takes a lot longer than you think but the end result was worth it. I also like how it pulls in the color of the burnt orange chair. That chair actually used to be in our living room but found it's way up to the office after we rearranged our living room. Now it looks like it actually fits with the space and ties all the colors together.
