This mirror is a part of our dining room set (from my husband's old house.) I loved the shape and size of it but felt like there was too much of that color of wood going on in that room. So, I found some paint in my garage and freshened it up a bit. As I've mentioned before, I adore monograms right now. I got this vinyl "D" from Belvedere Designs. (I believe I saw this idea on DIY showoff but can't remember) They were great to work with and even let me exchange the first product I bought when it didn't turn out as I had expected. I love the way it looks like etched glass. They were the only website I could find that had one that way, but you can get them in all different colors. My next step is to find a narrow console table to go underneath it. I've been searching for a while but haven't found on yet. The search continues...

I started putting this on and realized it was upside down. I kept thinking, "something just doesn't look right here.", guess it's been a long week...Thankfully I figured it out before it was too late!
