ok, so maybe it's not exactly a diamond but it will be! I picked this up at Goodwill today for around $20! It leaves a lot to be desired at the moment, but I'm loving the uniqueness of it. I think those details are crying out for some glaze! I'll share the "after" just as soon as I get enough guts to get outside in this freezing weather and paint it!
People are crazy to be selling these stuff for so cheap! Haven't they seen your blog? Wow, great find!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for this! Great find.
ReplyDeleteGreat find! A lacquer finish would look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love! That is going to be such a beautiful piece. If I lived closer I'd buy it from you (that is if you were selling)! Wish I could find something like this at my local goodwill! Can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see what you do with it, esp what color you choose:)
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh goody~goody gumdrops!!! I can't wait......go away winter! That would only go that cheap at all my local Goodwills if the doors were missing and it was leaning to one side.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to look absolutely amazing! good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey, that dresser looks a tad familiar....I originally was going to go the glaze route but with that much detail (see pasted blog post). You may want to do it another way? Just sayin'
