Red Baskets

It seems I'm not the only one in the blog world who's on an organizing kick.  I think it's the whole new year, fresh start mentality.  

Imagine my delight when I spotted these great red baskets in perfect condition at the Restore for $6.  I was actually planning on painting them, but hated to do that since they were great just the way they were.  My mom gave me the idea to use them for fabric organization, she's a genius!  They work perfectly in that space since red is one of the accent colors I already have there.

This is one of my favorite areas in our house because this piece holds all of my crafting supplies.  Everything from fabric to paper.  I love it and it would otherwise be unused space at the top of the stairs.  See the before and after of this piece here.

They are the perfect size to hold my always growing fabric collection.
