Your home is so beautiful, I've just caught up on the "tour". We recently had the walls in our great room painted chocolate brown but I haven't finished accessorizing. You home is giving me all kinds of ideas.
Thanks ladies! Tonia, it is just a piece of petrified wood that a friend found for me (they know me well). I didn't treat it, I just had my husband blow it out with the blower and clean it up a bit. I actually use it as a hurricane vase (there's a small vase inside it with a tealight in it)

I am LOVING those upholstered chairs! I love how the back of the seat is solid brown while the front is the pattern- gorgeous!

Is the center piece on the table wood you found? If so did you treat it with anything? Lovely nook by the way.
