ReplyDeleteI found your beautiful bedroom picture on Pinterest and I am so inspired to do the curtain canopy in our bedroom! I just have a question..how did you use the four curtains? I see that both rods have the curtains attached. Did you drape 2 curtains on the curtain rod on the roof first and then drape 2 curtains on the curtain rod on the wall next?
ReplyDeleteWhat color is this grey? I love it!
ReplyDeleteI am with the other ladies asking about the bedding. I am searching high and low for the sheet set and for the the yellow blanket! pretty please share or help us find it online!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been able to find the sheets only in full size. is that the size of your bed or were you able to find them in queen as well?

ReplyDeleteLOVE this style. Great inspiration for my master bedroom. What size are those canvases?? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you! They are approximately 15" x 18"
ReplyDeletehow much yard use in canopy?
ReplyDeleteI actually used two curtain panels that were 57" wide by 98" long (the RITVA curtains from IEKA) and I used two panels. It ended up being much cheaper to purchase a pair of curtains for $20, but if you are wanting to use a specific fabric I would estimate you would need approximately 17 yards of fabric. You could use half the amount of fabric (around 9 yards) to cut the cost, but you would have a less gathered look. This post has more details on the canopy (http://www.dwellingsbydevore.com/2012/08/diy-bedroom-canopy-instructions.html#.UZ4jT459ncN)
ReplyDeletecan this look be done over a window seat with the bottom part on tiebacks?

ReplyDeleteThe pattern is called houndstooth. I bought it at a local fabric outlet store, but you can find something similar online.
