I've been scouring craigslist for weeks looking for one of these gorgeous hutches. Then, last Friday I stopped by Goodwill for a quick run through after work and there she was and only $49, not too shabby. Sure, it needs a little work but the lines are perfect and the size is just right too. I plan to use it as a bookcase in our office instead of the ordinary MDF one we have now. I primed it this weekend and it already looks a thousand times better. Stay tuned for the full reveal!
It reminds me of these beauties I've had saved in my inspiration file, some of these have pull out desks but it's a similar concept and feel.

Have you ever used the Looking Glass spray paint? You could spray in the inside of the glass doors and it look gorgeous! Ive done it on big vases and it is fantastic. Cant wait to see the finished project.

Fingers crossed I can find a beauty like that!
Thanks, I'm super excited about it! Amber, great idea! I actually thought about but I'm not sure if I want to put pretty things in there for display or not. We'll see! :)
Too funny, thanks for the comment. It's very similar, I can't wait to see your "after" post. I plan to work on mine next weekend. I am going to paint it a high gloss white and either paper or paint the interior a different color.
Best,
Julie
