You can eat cake!

When I first saw this cake in the blog world, I was immediately inspired.  So pretty and delicious looking.  Add a few tiers and it could even be used as a wedding cake.

So, I thought I would give it a whirl and make one for my sister's birthday.  And here she is, can you really go wrong with cream cheese buttercream?  I think not.

Beautiful Cake Bethany... That was too pretty to cut. However your sister is more than worth the sacrifice. I know she loved it.

The presentation is gorgeous!

Bet this technique could look stunning on cupcakes too if the flower was just made smaller.

Could you provide instructions for how you piped the frosting or if there is a link to where you first saw this cake?

Really, great job.

Do you have a link for how you did this? Or will you give us the play-by-play? This looks so great and deceptively simple!
