The stripes on the ceiling are finished and I am oh so happy. Although it was a lot of work I think it was definitely worth it and well worth the effort, even my hubby said so. Next up is a fun DIY light project I've got going on. I love the chandelier but I've found something a little more playful. The chandelier will find a new home in my office, which I'm sad to admit is still halfway done. For anyone who's wondering, the ceiling color is yellow magnolia by Martha Stewart. It's one of my favorite yellows.
(pardon the cell phone pic, it was late when we finished and just wanted to snap a pic to show you guys)
Stripes are supposed to stimulate brain development for babies...and they're really cute and fun! :) Well done!

ReplyDeleteThis is causing me to think about what room I could possibly do this to! You did one outstanding job, it looks fabulous! Janell
ReplyDeleteI am dizzy thinking of how you managed to paint stripes on the ceiling. They look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I absolutely love the color - and I don't even want to think about how exhausting it was to paint all of those stripes!

love those yellow stripes. I saw your bedroom side tables and loved them so I got a sample size of the MS magnolia paint and did my first paint project ... a wooden jewerly chest. I love the yellow tho I need more practice at the distressing process.
