Thank you and a look for less

First, I want to say thank you to Emily Clark for featuring my daughter's bathroom on her blog.  Emily is super talented so I definitely feel honored.  And since we are on the topic of my daughter's bathroom, I thought I'd share a recent find I came across for that room.  Unfortunately when I painted the vanity pink it clashed with my DIY striped shower curtain, bummer.  I brainstormed several DIY options to replace it, but ended up settling on this super affordable cream ruffled shower curtain from Amazon.  When I bought it it was only $19 and it looks like it's around $22 now.  Not a huge jump, but if you wait it out it may go back down.  If you shop amazon frequently you know their prices change almost daily on some things.

I'm sure if you get on Pinterest you'll find a million ways to DIY one of these, but I just didn't have it in me.  The thought of sewing all those ruffles kind of made me want to pull my hair out.  So, it was well worth the $19.

I still love the urban outfitters ruffled shower curtain (which happens to be on sale right now).  I love how it has several more layers of ruffles, but at the time it wasn't on sale so the lower priced version won out for me.  A few of the other colors are actually on sale for $28 right now!!  Just add it to your cart and you'll see a 30% discount.  The amazon one is also very similar to this anthro version

I'm really happy with it, especially for the price.  I love that it's feminine, but not too over the top.  It adds some nice texture and I feel like it will grow with my daughter too.

This bathroom is tiny so I squeezed myself between the toilet and the cabinet to get the best picture I could.  I must really like you guys. :)  It really looks just like the photo they used.  I ordered the cream version, but it comes in white too.  If you do a quick search on Amazon you'll see there are actually a lot of different ruffled versions at very reasonable prices.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
