We just got back from a fun family weekend in the mountains. We went apple picking, stopped into a few thrift stores, and just relaxed with family. I didn't find too many treasures thrifting, but the apple donuts and fudge apples made up for that, yum.
Anyways, I'm so excited to be back and to be participating in the Modern and Fresh Fall Home Tour hosted by Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Co. and Kristen from kfd designs.
They are featuring 31 days of fall home tours. If you've missed out on the first few days go back and check them out. You definitely won't be disappointed. There are some amazing bloggers in this lineup! Yesterday, Jennifer shared some inspiration from her beautiful home. I especially loved her glittered stick antlers. Aren't they fun?
I don't usually do a lot of fall decorating since fall seems to go by so fast, but this year I added in a few natural elements and of course I had to sneak in some gold. I'll be sharing more details on some of the projects I did for these spaces in the next few weeks.
I remember my grandma had these same type of glasses at her house when I was a kid. So, I always love it when I have an occasion to pull them out.
I cozied up little miss's chair with some fur.
My mom gave me a stash of costume jewelry that she wasn't using anymore and I've just been waiting for the perfect project to use it on. I used a little hot glue to hold them in place, that way I can just pop them right off when the season's over and use them on another project down the road.
My daughter is loving pumpkins these days, she actually pronounces it "huh hee." Doesn't really sound like pumpkin, but we all know what she means. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to add one in her room. I upped the glam factor by adding a little pink paint (valspar brushed rose spray paint) and glitter.
Here's the lineup if you want to follow along. Carmel from Our Fifth House is up tomorrow. I can't wait to see what she has come up with!
