One of my favorite ways to totally change the look of a room is to switch up the pillows. It's such an easy, inexpensive thing that can make a huge impact. I've had my eye on these great pillow covers from Hobby Lobby lately. They are so good for the price, especially when they are 50% off! (they are this week) I think the most expensive one was $6 and some were as low as $2 or $3. They have an even bigger selection online and they're 50% off there too. So if you don't have a Hobby Lobby near you, you're in luck!

This one is fairly simple, but for a few dollars it's a great blank slate. I would dress it up with some ribbon or pom pom trim.
If you don't have existing pillows that you could cover, I love using these inserts from IKEA. They're only $5.99 and the duck feather filling gives them a great shape. It makes the pillows look much more expensive than they are.
