Thank you all for your sweet comments on the kids' bathroom reveal last week! It was a fun project to work on and I'm really happy with the end result. Let's hope my kids don't get tired of flamingos any time soon! Today I thought I'd share a little project that I did for that space.
There weren't any towel bars in the room to begin with and I knew I wanted something near the sink for the kids to use to dry their hands off. I searched for the perfect towel ring and came up empty handed. All the ones I loved where way too pricey. Isn't that always the case? So I eventually I came across these on Amazon. The price was definitely right. I think I paid around $3.
I wasn't crazy about the shiny silver bracket, but that's nothing a little spray paint couldn't fix. The plastic ring easily pops out so there's not taping involved either, which is always a plus. I used my favorite gold spray paint to spray the brackets and they instantly looked better.
I think they look much more expensive than they were. The acrylic ring gives you the lucite look and the gold just takes it up a notch.
